TIER 1 APPROVED

Kardia (formerly AliveCor®), the world's first Mobile ECG, allows individuals to detect, monitor and manage heart arrhythmias with automatic analysis.

Clinically-validated, Kardia Mobile ECG consists of a device and app enabling users to capture medical-grade electrocardiograms (ECG) in 30 seconds, at anytime, or anywhere. Attaching to the back of most iOS and Android devices, it communicates wirelessly meaning health professionals and consumers can track heart health instantly.

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common heart rhythm disturbance and a leading cause of stroke. AF can be simply detected through ECGs - previously the domain of Hospital or GP based Cardiology Service - but the Kardia app and device automatically checks for rhythm abnormalities. Instant feedback means the output, combined with blood pressure and a few questions, can provide a complete stroke risk profile.

This key data, ECG + result from automatic algorithms, can be integrated into Digital Health Platforms, through API cloud connectivity and patients can access ECG data anytime from a standard web browser.

More than 125 North West Coast GPs and Community Nurses use Kardia, with Kardia to be part of an AF Collaborative involving 50 GP practices.
